When are chimney extensions recommended?

• Improper Smoke Dispersal - It is recommend that the stack of the chimney be a minimum of 2 ft above eave line of residence and other neighbors.
• Down Drafting - Inadequacy chimney lengths can cause downdrafts that will cause wood to burn quicker and inefficiently. 
• Regulations & Ordinances - Many areas require chimney extension to be used on outdoor furnaces. Check with your local building codes.
